Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Brig (retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah on Wednesday highlighted the importance of creating awareness among the people against drug abuse and purging society of the accursed menace. Speaking to the media after participating in a walk organised by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), he said the drug abuse was rampant in the whole country and needed joint efforts to completely eliminate it from our society. Sunny Trust actively Participated in Mass Awareness Campaign against Drug Abuse led by Minister of Norcotics Control, Federal Ministor of Norcotics Control, Federal Secretory Ministry of Norcotics Control, Force Commander ANF , RD Rawalpindi, Chairman Sunny Trust Dr Munawar Fayyaz Sunny. Students of different Institutions and General public participated in walk held from D-Chowk to Parliamment House Islamabad organized by Ministry of Narcotics control (government of Pakistan) and Anti-narcotics force on 24-2-2021. The participants of the walk, which started from D-Chowk and culminated at the Parliament House, carried placards and pamphlets inscribed with slogans against the drug addiction and its effects on the whole family. Shah said it posed a serious threat to the youth of the country. "Each one of us needs to play his role in the elimination of this scourge from our country" he added.
